Rounding Out Your Fall Wardrobe

What better way to add some pattern to your fall wardrobe than with polka dots? The fun and flirty print will add personality to any ensemble. I love the navy and white and black and white prints- so classic and stylish! Polka dots were all over the fall J.Crew catalog. I included some of these beautiful images below as well as some other great polka dotted pieces!

J.Crew Fall 2012

It has been an exciting week for J.Crew, with the debut of the Fall 2012 collection in New York and an announcement that they will be doing collaboration with Manolo Blahnik.

This exciting collaboration began when J.Crew President, Jenna Lyons, fell in love with the Blahnik’s signature BB style. According to Women’s Wear Daily, “J.Crew chose to reimagine the single-sole pointy-toe pump in 41 different ways, with glitter, suede and a variety of colorful fabrications culled from its apparel line.” Even more exciting, is that this is the first time Blahnik has moved out of luxury fashion and into the contemporary realm. (Talk about the perfect mix of high and low fashion – no one does it better than J.Crew!) The launch date for these BB heels is still being finalized.

But let’s not lose sight of the gorgeous clothes shown at the Fall 2012 presentation. The collection had a perfect balance of color, pattern and lots of texture!

Trend to Try: Green Trousers

I've been currently coveting the green trouser look. I'm not very daring when it comes to colored bottoms, so this is a great way to add a unique piece to my wardrobe. I especially love the green pant paired with the leopard print top below. So fab!

Perfect Pair: Stripes and Sequins

I am currently obsessed with pairing sequins and stripes. Both make a chic statement when worn on their own, but together sequins and stripes make a perfect ensemble!
