365: A Year in Photos
Inspired by the blog Chez Larsson, I have decided to start keeping a daily photo book. For 365 days, I will take a picture and compile them into a book at the end of the year. What fun it will be to capture the things and moments I love in 2012. A great way to check off one of my resolutions- to cherish the moments!

Holiday Gift Wrap: Back to Basics
My favorite gift-wrap this holiday season is simple, brown paper with festive red details. Sometimes, more isn’t always best. Plain brown paper can be dressed up with burlap, leaf & berry adornments and glittery bows. Here are five ways to get this look and wrap up the perfect present.

Love this brown gift tag with the fun, red wrapping paper and striped bow!

Based on my previous posts, you know I adore burlap details. Why not use burlap to add some texture to your holiday wrapping?

Gift Wrap made from recycled Trader Joe's Bags!

The twig and acorn bring wintery details to this perfect package.

I adore all things glittery. This sparkly bow dresses up the simple, brown paper.

Pom Poms? So fun!

DIY: Holiday Cards
I have always wanted to make my own holiday cards instead of purchasing a boxed set. Unfortunately, time won't allow me to partake in this DIY project this year...so it's on my to-do list for 2012. Handmade cards just have an extra dash of creativity, thoughtfulness and charm. Plus they are easier to make than you might think! The pictures below have inspired me to create my own cards for the holidays...and perhaps every special occasion!

Christmas Craft: Tissue Box Presents!
Instead of recycling your old tissue boxes, why not turn them into an adorable holiday decoration?! Simply cover the outside of a tissue box with festive paper, tinsel or even the candies of your choice. Tie a colorful bow around the outside and you'll have a perfect present! Make multiple tissue box presents and pair them together... this will allow you to play with various fabrics, textures and holiday colors!
