Trend to Try: Tartan Plaid Pieces

When the winter months roll around, there is one trend that I happily welcome into my wardrobe every year: plaid! This classic print just feels so perfect in the cool weather- you can dress it up, down and even mix it with other prints. A Lovely Weekend!

Hope you all are having a lovely weekend! Can you believe Christmas is only two weeks away?! This weekend I finished putting up our Christmas decorations, wrapped up my holiday shopping, and finally mailed out our Christmas cards. The holiday season is at last setting in! Not to mention, we had our first real snow! Could not be happier :)

Christmas lights always seem to burn out. But Instead of throwing them away...try covering with glitter! These sparkly lights are gorgeous when displayed in glass jars. An easy DIY holiday craft!

Holiday Ornaments...No Tree Required :)

Some spaces are too small for Christmas trees and large holiday decorations. Try hanging glass ornaments from a ceiling fixture or in glass jars to bring the holiday spirit into your home, without taking up the entire space. These decorating ideas are unique and will have you feeling merry all season long. Christmas Craft: Tissue Box Presents!

Instead of recycling your old tissue boxes, why not turn them into an adorable holiday decoration?! Simply cover the outside of a tissue box with festive paper, tinsel or even the candies of your choice. Tie a colorful bow around the outside and you'll have a perfect present! Make multiple tissue box presents and pair them together... this will allow you to play with various fabrics, textures and holiday colors!
