Giambattista Valli: Spring Couture 2012

In his Spring Couture 2012 collection, Giambattista Valli brought the traditional ideals of haute couture into the twenty-first century. Valli was referential, and acknowledged the source of inspiration found in haute couture ateliers; yet Valli also stayed true to his own design aesthetic. Some of my favorite looks include airy chiffon gowns, tiny flowered detailing and lace.
