CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Winner: Joseph Altuzarra

Congratulations are in order! Joseph Altuzarra was named this year's winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award. Altuzarra exploded onto the fashion scene in 2009. His line was born out of "the desire to provide a contemporary and practical wardrobe for the modern professional woman." The Altuzarra identity combines the legacy of french culture and the energy of New York. After working for Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Givenchy, Altuzarra finally decided to launch a line of his own. Altuzarra was awarded $300,000 to put toward his growing business.
